The initiative is aligned with the Government of India’s ongoing efforts to promote awareness and adoption of intellectual property laws, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, designs, and geographical indications.

The Yatra focuses on encouraging creativity, safeguarding innovation, and empowering MSMEs by integrating advanced technologies and structured IP frameworks.

IP Awareness and MSME Empowerment at the Core

As part of the National Intellectual Property Yatra, MSMEs across sectors will be supported in registering and protecting their intellectual property.

The initiative connects MSMEs with Intellectual Property Facilitation Centres (IPFCs) across the country, offering end-to-end guidance on IP creation, protection, and commercialisation.

Innovators and entrepreneurs will also gain access to mentorship, funding guidance, and platforms to showcase their creative and technological solutions. Notably, AIC Pinnacle functions as an authorised IP Facilitation Centre, providing free IP-related services.

National Intellectual Property Yatra to Bring Together Industry, Startups, and Legal Experts

The National Intellectual Property Yatra aims to serve as a collaborative platform for MSMEs, startups, entrepreneurs, IP professionals, legal practitioners, and policymakers.

Through structured mentoring sessions, workshops, networking forums, and panel discussions, the Yatra will highlight the strategic importance of intellectual property in business growth and national economic development.

Dedicated IP clinics during the event will guide MSMEs on IP registration processes and available financial assistance schemes.
